Open Source Use & Contribution Policy
Last updated: May 9, 2025
How we use, manage, and contribute to the open source community while respecting licenses and best practices.
Frostcloud stands on the shoulders of open source — and we give back whenever we can. This Open Source Policy outlines how we use, manage, and contribute to the open source community.
We actively use open-source software in our tech stack, and we always:
• Respect license terms (MIT, Apache, GPL, etc.)
• Track dependencies and update regularly
• Avoid use of unsupported or high-risk packages
We encourage team members to contribute to OSS projects — whether it's fixing bugs, improving docs, or launching new ideas. Contributions made on company time should align with Frostcloud values and be approved by the Tech Lead or CTO.
We believe in open code, open dialogue, and an open internet.
